On June 3, the signing ceremony of “Transcom Microwave Scholarship” was held in the conference hall of the old library of Sipailou campus of Southeast University. Many leaders attended the ceremony, including Feng Yuejun, the CEO of Transcom Instrument, Chen Xiangmin, the executive vice president of Transcom Instrument, Liu Songyu, the executive deputy director of SEU Development Committee, Hong Wei, dean of SEU Information Science and Engineering College, Li Jiuxian, Secretary of Party Committee of SEU Information Science and Engineering College, Sun Wei, deputy Secretary of Party Committee and assistant dean of SEU Information Science and Engineering College, Yuan Liudi, Training Office director of Graduate School. Feng Yuejun and Liu Songyu signed the donation letter of agreement. Feng said that Transcom and SEU have established profound friendship after more than ten years of cooperation. The company would help the student training and university construction of SEU. Liu Songyu emphasized that the university would deepen the cooperation with Transcom in many fields such as science research and talent training. Hong Wei thanked Transcom for the help and support, expressing both sides would have glorious future in continuous cooperation. In the end, Liu Songyu accepted the donation on behalf of SEU, awarding a donation certificate and commemorate nameplate to Mr. Feng.
To better respond to the call of feeding back to the society, help to train innovative talent and practice the Transcom mission of serving the society, Transcom Instrument brought out the Transcom Microwave Scholarship to those excellent masters and doctors of SEU Information Science and Engineering College. To provide comprehensive support to the information engineering academic innovation of SEU, Transcom donated CNY 330,000 for the scholarship this time. So far Transcom Instrument has donated CNY 630,000 to SEU in all.
The cooperation between Transcom Instrument and SEU Information College started in 2005, lasted for 10 years so far. Both parties constructed SEU-TI Electronic Measurement Technology Joint Research Center in 2012, further deepening and expanding the scope of cooperation.
